St. Therese's Parish used this funding to build a new early learning centre in Strathfieldsaye.
The Victorian Government is committed to providing high quality early years programs to give every child the best start in life.
The Government, through the Children’s Facilities Capital Program, is supporting local governments and other service providers to invest in early childhood infrastructure. This funding will respond to growing demand for places, raise the quality of learning environments and improve access to services for children from vulnerable and/or disadvantaged families.
Assisi Kindergarten Strathfieldsaye offers 4-year-old and 3-year-old Kindergarten program, and provide playgroup facilities for 0-5 year olds. The space also supports allied health services and can be used as as a meeting room for local community groups.
This Kindergarten opened at the beginning of 2017.
