The Victorian government allocated $10 million to the School Improvement Fund in the 2015-16 State Budget to support minor works projects.
The School Improvement Fund supports small school projects that contribute to the community's pride in the school, and that help to foster a great relationship between the school and its local community.
This funding will be used to build an ECO-cubby. The Eco Cubby is formed from two shipping containers, with a tool shed, rock and rope climbing walls, and a fort.
The learning and play space was designed by the school's students with the help of professional architects. It will form a centrepiece of the school's sustainability and environmental education programs.
This project is an election commitment for the Victorian Government.
This is a school-led project.
