The upgrade at Kyneton Secondary College is part of the Victorian Government's commitment to ensure that students have access to world class educational facilities.
In keeping with the pedagogical (teaching strategies) vision and practices of Kyneton Secondary College, the $10.9 million project will involve repurposing numerous existing buildings. The project will fully repurpose and establish a new Year 7 and 8 Learning Centre with flexible learning environments and will create a vocational education and training hub.
This 'Training and Innovation Hub' will provide innovative learning spaces, including hands on workshops. There are a number of opportunities for how the training hub can be used including: robotics, mechatronics, automotive, design, engineering, health and education or construction could be considered.
