​​​​PROJECT UPDATE

There are two stages to the project happening at Lyndale Secondary College:

  • Stage 1 Works:  revitalise the performing arts, STEM and food technology facilities
  • Satge 2 Works:  addressing the library, IT and administration facilities


stage 1 works

Stage 1 works will convert the existing hall into a performing arts centre with a café/canteen and food tech space. The project will also replace the current science facilities with a single storey STEM building which includes general purpose classrooms.


In the 2015-16 State Budget the school received $7 million to build Stage 1 of its regeneration project.

ARCHITE​​CT

Baade Harbour Australia have been appointed as the architect of this project. ​​​

BUILDER

Johns Lyng Commercial Builders have been appointed to the project.


​​stage 2 works​

 Stage 2 works will  construct a new library and IT wing and convert the current library to a staff administration area. 

​In the 2016-17 State Budget, ​​35 Victorian schools shared in planning funding totalling $12 million. The school used this funding to plan Stage 2 of the regeneration. In the 2017-18 State Budget $6 million funding was allocated to deliver the planned Stage 2 works. ​​
