We are upgrading and modernising Building C, which contains the administration and staff areas, classrooms, toilets and ancillary spaces.

This upgrade will create additional spaces in the classrooms, create a new entry into the school and general internal and external refurbishment works.​


Wendy Hastrich Architect is the architect for the project.


Laney Construction​ is the builder for the project.


The focus of the works at Manifold Heights Primary School is the upgrade of a Heritage style building where the solid double brick construction of the school has restricted the expansion of the Learning Activity Space available to students.  The priority for the school was to access the full use of the classroom area by designing the support areas within adjacent found space, including the opening into previously inaccessible parts of the building. 

Significant maintenance to the building has been incorporated into the project.  Solar Gain into classrooms has been minimised, upgrade to all external treatments as well as gutter and fascia upgrades have addressed key concerns held by the School Council for many years, including the removal of asbestos.

​The front entry will been renovated to address the congested layout within the original configuration and bring disabled access up to compliance.​
