ABOUT THE PROJECT
Stage 5 of the new school Manor Lakes P-12 will provide provision for all year levels in the growing Wyndham Vale area.
The architects are currently developing plans to modernise the school, which will include detailed designs and drawings of the project.
Once the building project is complete, the
school will be able to accommodate 1,757 enrolments.
The school has been consulting with the students, teachers and the local community to identify and prioritise the school’s building requirements. The curriculum needs of the school, as well as their future ambitions, formed part of this process.
The school will be supported by the Authority to make sure that the building works are in line with the needs of the school community and that they fit in with the school's vision for the future.
Potential projects for the school include:
- Upgraded classrooms and administration facilities
- A new café/canteen and student lounge
- Facilities for trades learning
- A new gym with competition-grade netball courts
- A new health hub
- Outdoor learning spaces
- Covered walkways between buildings
The architects for the project are H20 Architects.
Once architectural designs are complete, a builder will be appointed.
Steve Warner is the Principal of Manor Lakes College.
Please contact the school directly for information regarding enrolments.
