There were two projects undertaken at the Maryborough Education Centre:
- 2015-16 School Improvement Fund project
- 2016 Inclusive Schools Fund project
SCHOOl improvement fund project
The school used the $250,000 allocation for ground works and landscaping its entrance.
The Victorian Government allocated $10 million to the School Improvement Fund in the 2015-16 State Budget to support minor works projects.
The School Improvement Fund supports small school projects that contribute to the community's pride in the school and help to foster a great relationship between the school and its local community.
INCLUSIVE SCHOOLS FUND project
The school received $200,000 to create a sensory playground and inclusive learning space.
The Inclusive Schools Fund is a $20 million fund over four years, established to help Victorian government schools implement innovative projects that promote best practice inclusive school environments and support the educational and social needs of children and young people with disabilities.
