PROJECT UPDATE
Additional funding of $7.8 million has been announced for Sandringham East Primary School. This funding will be used to build a new multi-purpose hall and double-storey learning building.

We are replacing older facilities and cellular classrooms at the school with a new multi-purpose hall and double-storey learning building.

The project will be rolled out in two stages.

  • Stage One: We will construct a new stadium which will house a competition-grade gym, as well as music and art facilities, staff facilities and a canteen.
  • Stage Two: We will construct a new state-of-the art, double-storey classroom building and do landscaping to boost outdoor learning activities.

Facilities

The multi-purpose hall will comprise a competition-sized sports stadium that can be used by the wider community outside of school hours, a music space opening up to the stadium and outdoor play area, a staff lounge offering enhanced connectivity and supervision of the central play area, and a larger canteen to cater for students and community groups.

The new learning building will provide a variety of settings to support different modes of learning.
