The Victorian Government is committed to providing high quality early years programs to give every child the best start in life.
The Government, through the Children’s Facilities Capital Program, has invested $60 million over four years to support local governments and other service providers to invest in early childhood infrastructure. This funding will respond to growing demand for places, raise the quality of learning environments and improve access to services for children from vulnerable and/or disadvantaged families.
This project will increase current licenced 4 yr old kindergarten places by 6 to a total of 26. This will be achieved by reconfiguring the indoor floor space where the current bathroom facilities are located.
The project will also comprise of upgrades to the centres current facilities to incorporate a functional constructed deck.
