The City of Greater Geelong are delivering the new Highton Enhanced Children's Centre. This new facility will extend and replace existing early childhood facilities in Highton in response to population growth.
The Victorian Government is committed to providing high quality early years programs to give every child the best start in life.
The Government, through the Children’s Facilities Capital Program, is supporting local governments and other service providers to invest in early childhood infrastructure. This funding will respond to growing demand for places, raise the quality of learning environments and improve access to services for children from vulnerable and/or disadvantaged families.
The Highton Enhanced Children's Centre will include a double room kindergarten, two maternal child health consulting rooms, a multi-purpose room for community and group-based programs, outdoor play space and administration facilities.
Brand Architects have been appointed to the project.
