The Inclusive Schools Fund supports small innovative building projects that make a big difference to meeting the educational and social needs of children and young people with disabilities and additional needs.
Inclusive education is about ensuring that all students, regardless of disabilities or other differences, are able to fully participate, learn, develop and succeed in Victorian government schools.
Since 2015, 234 primary, secondary and specialist schools have been successful in securing funding for projects such as outdoor sensory gardens and learning areas, specialist play and recreation equipment, and adapting indoor learning spaces to be more inclusive.
Find out more about what schools from previous funding rounds think about the Inclusive Schools Fund (PDF, Word).
The 2020-21 Victorian State Budget allocated an additional $20 million to this fund.
Round 6 of the Inclusive Schools Fund is now open and will close on Friday 19 February 2021.
Government schools are invited to apply for up to $200,000 in funding for an indoor inclusive learning space, outdoor inclusive learning space, or accessible playground.
