We supported the construction of a new Catholic primary school in Craigieburn West.
Oscar Romero school is one of four Catholic primary schools within the Parish of Our Lady’s Parish Craigieburn and Roxburgh Park.
The school building project is now complete, but will not open for students until the neighbouring transport infrastructure is completed. Students are attending Mother Teresa Catholic Primary School in the meantime.

Project Funding
Non-government schools are an important part of Victoria's education system, with over one-third of Victorian students studying at Catholic or independent schools.
The Victorian Government is investing $120 million to build and upgrade Catholic and independent Schools across the State, matching dollar for dollar the sector's contribution over four years.
The Government is working closely with the Catholic Education Commission of Victoria and Independent Schools Victoria to ensure available funding is targeted to the areas of highest need.
The Non-Government Schools Grants Program will be targeted at improving the condition of schools and creating more spaces for student learning.
