We are entirely rebuilding this school, including its early education facilities. We will demolish old buildings that are no longer fit for purpose, and replace relocatable buildings with permanent facilities for staff and students.
While we're undertaking the redevelopment, we're relocating student classrooms, and the staff and visitors carpark, to McCully Reserve (the school oval). McCully Reserve will be fenced off from public access and reserved for school use only. Community use of the oval will be reviewed after construction finishes.
We're working closely with the school to carry out works in stages so as to best accommodate staff and students. We're also being flexible with the order of works in each stage to limit disruption whilst facilitating school needs. The stages are planned as:
Stage 1 - Complete
- Early education building and courtyard
- Middle school building, junior school buildings and junior sensory garden
- Administration building, junior play area, and landscaping to junior and middle school buildings
Stage 2
- Specialist learning buildings and landscaping
- Secondary Neighborhood including the senior sensory garden
- Staff and professional learning centre
- Staff carpark
Stage 3
- Residual landscaping and civil works.

The school will also receive a hydrotherapy pool as part of the current project, as a result of $500,000 additional funding.
