About the project
We are expanding and improving this centre.
We are adding a new 2-room modular kindergarten building. These classrooms will create up to 99 extra kindergarten places for local children. This will expand free kindergarten as part of the Best Start, Best Life reforms.
Funding
This project received funding as part of the Building Blocks Partnership between the State Government and Hume City Council. The State Government has committed up to $7.4 million to support 5 projects. These will create up to 280 kindergarten places in the local government area.

About the project
Hume City Council built the Aitken Hill Integrated Community Centre.
The centre includes:
- 2 preschool rooms
- 2 maternal child health consulting rooms
- 3 specialist rooms
- flexible multipurpose community meeting/functions rooms and playground.
Funding
As part of the 2015–16 Children's Facilities Capital Program $1.6 million was allocated to the project.
