About the project
We are expanding this popular primary school, building a three-storey satellite campus next to Darling Gardens for Years 5 and 6 students. As well as giving the school additional learning areas, we will build extra spaces for consultation and staff support.
This will allow the school to accommodate more students and ensure they have enough space to play outside. It will also help ease enrolment pressure at surrounding schools.
In the 2015-16 State Budget, $100,000 was allocated to the school. An additional $560,000 was allocated in the 2017-18 State Budget. In the 2018-19 State Budget, $271.7 million was allocated to schools across the state for land acquisition. This includes funding for a site extension for Clifton Hill. In the 2019-20 State Budget, the school received $1.276 million. In 2020, the school received $11.48 million.
