About the project
We’re building a new secondary school in Clyde North. It will open day one of Term 1 in 2025 and help the growing local population get great education close to home.
In its first year of operation, Clyde North Secondary School (interim name) will open to Year 7 students only, and progress by year level thereafter. It will be able to enrol up to 800 students when the first stage of the school is complete. You can find out if you're in the school enrolment zone by entering your address at findmyschool.vic.gov.au.
For enrolment queries, please email clyde.north.ss@education.vic.gov.au.
Your new school’s name
We have been using Clyde North Secondary School as an interim name while the school was being planned, designed, and built. We recently consulted with the public on a new name for this new school.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the public consultation and provided us with their naming preferences.
The Department of Education will use these preferences to inform the decision on this new school’s name. The Minister for Education will announce the new name in the coming weeks. We will share this new name once it is announced.
