About the project

We helped upgrade Jamieson Way Community Centre – Kindergarten in partnership with Wyndham City Council.

We built a third kindergarten room. We also made the outdoor play area bigger and updated the maternal and child health spaces.

This adds space for the service to offer kinder to 33 extra children at a time. It may be able to enrol more local kids by spreading sessions throughout the week.

Funding

This project received $2.75 million as part of the Building Blocks Partnership between the State Government and Wyndham City Council. The Victorian Government has provided $47 million to support 17 projects that will create more than 3600 kindergarten places in the local government area.
