About the project

We are upgrading and modernising this kindergarten. This includes building updates to improve learning areas, and removing asbestos that may pose a future health risk.

A licensed technician will remove asbestos sheeting in line with occupational health and safety regulations. They will monitor air quality throughout the process and certify the building is safe. They will complete the asbestos removal when children and staff are offsite.

Funding

In the 2022–23 Building Blocks Improvement Grants $290,000.00 was allocated to the project.
