About the project
We are building an additional kindergarten building at Nhill College, in partnership with Hindmarsh Shire Council. The new building will allow the centre to offer more kindergarten places to the local community. The existing kinder will continue to operate nearby.
We will build the new kinder using modular construction. The new one-room building will be able to offer kinder to 33 children at a time. It may be able to enrol more local kids by spreading classes throughout the week.

About the project
In partnership with Hindmarsh Shire Council, we upgraded the centre. The upgrade included:
- increasing kindergarten capacity for 3 and 4-year-olds
- closing in an external space to create an additional learning room.

In 2019–20, this project was allocated $42,545 through the Children's Facilities Capital Program.
