About the project

We are helping Frankston City Council upgrade Seaford Kindergarten, developing it into the new Seaford Child and Family Centre.

The existing building will be demolished and replaced with a new building. It will have 2 kinder rooms, maternal child health facilities, dedicated youth space and community spaces.

When works are finished, the new centre will be able to offer kinder to up to 66 children at a time. It may be able to enrol more local kids by spreading classes throughout the week.

Funding

This project received up to $4.5 million as part of the Building Blocks Partnership between the Victorian Government and Frankston City Council. The Victorian Government has provided up to $15.45 million to support 3 projects that will create up to 371 kindergarten places in the local government area.
