About the project

We are building a kindergarten at St Peter’s Catholic Primary School in Long Gully. We will build the kinder using modular construction.

The centre will have 2 kinder rooms and be able to offer kinder to 66 children at a time. It may be able to enrol more local kids by spreading classes throughout the week.

Funding

The Victorian School Building Authority is building this kinder as part of the Building Blocks Partnership between the Victorian Government and Sandhurst Catholic Early Childhood Education & Care. The Victorian Government has invested up to $14.62 million to support 4 projects and 2 planning grants. These will create more kindergarten places in the central and north-eastern regions of Victoria.
