About the project

We partnered with City of Melton to build this centre. It has 4 kindergarten rooms and offers maternal and child health services as well.

The centre can offer kinder to up to 132 children at a time. It may be able to enrol more kids by spreading sessions throughout the week.

This helps expand Victoria’s 2 years of free kindergarten, as part of our Best Start, Best Life reforms.

Funding

This project received $9 million as part of the Building Blocks Partnership between the Victorian Government and Melton City Council. The Victorian Government has committed up to $ 37.7 million to support 10 projects in the City of Melton. These will create up to 2,322 kindergarten places in the local government area.
