About the project

We are building a 3-room kindergarten at the new Wollert Central Primary School (interim name).

It will open in 2025 and provide 99 kindergarten places for the local community. This will help some families before and after school with drop-off and pick-up. It will also help some children make a smoother transition into primary school.

Funding

In the 2023-24 State Budget, this project shared in $1.3 billion allocated to build around 100 new kindergartens to support Best Start, Best Life.
