About the project

We are upgrading and expanding Airport West Kindergarten. We will extend the heritage-listed building to add 2 new kindergarten rooms. The service will be able to offer kinder to 99 children at a time. It may be able to enrol more local kids by spreading classes throughout the week.  

Funding

This project received up to $6.85 million as part of the Building Blocks Partnership between the Victorian Government and Moonee Valley City Council. The Victorian Government has provided up to $20.74 million to support 5 projects that will create up to 523 additional kindergarten places in the local government area.
