About the project

We're building a kindergarten at Ararat West Primary School.

It will open in 2028 and have 2 kindergarten rooms. Having the school and kindergarten together may help some families with drop-off and pick-up. It may also help some children make a smoother transition into primary school.

Enrolment

Ballarat and District Aboriginal Co-operative(opens in a new window) was appointed to run this kindergarten. They will manage enrolments via this website(opens in a new window).

Funding

This project shares in the approximate $580 million in capital funding committed since the 2019–20 State Budget to support the rollout of 3-Year-Old Kinder.
