About the project
We created a sensory garden that offers stimulating experiences for people of all ages and abilities.
The initiative was developed after consulting students, families and staff, who collectively named the project the 'Munganin - Gadhaba Garden' which means 'Achieve Together' in the Taunurung language.
Its design is influenced by the school's strong ties to Indigenous and Japanese cultures.
Funding
In 2017, the school received $200,000 from Round 3 of the Inclusive Schools Fund.
