About the project

We are partnering with the City of Port Phillip to upgrade The Avenue Children's Centre and Kindergarten.

We will demolish the existing building to make way for a new, fit for purpose kindergarten.

The service will be able to offer kinder to up to 40 children at a time. It may be able to enrol more local kids by spreading sessions throughout the week.

Funding

This project received $2.35 million as part of the Building Blocks Partnership between the Victorian Government and Port Phillip City Council.

The Victorian Government has provided up to $16.51 million to support 6 projects that will create more kindergarten places in the local government area.
