About the project

We are helping Mitchell Shire Council build an integrated children’s centre.

The centre will have 4 kindergarten rooms and be able to offer kinder to up to 132 children at a time. It may be able to enrol more local kids by spreading classes throughout the week. It will also have 2 maternal and child health rooms as well as allied health and community rooms.

This project also received funding through a Building Blocks Planning Grant.

This project received $9 million through the Building Blocks Partnership between the Victorian Government and Mitchell Shire Council.
