About the project

We helped build the Bellfield Community Hub.

Among its other services, the hub provides:

  • 2 kindergarten rooms with a large outdoor play area
  • 2 maternal and child health rooms
  • a social enterprise cafe
  • a big community garden.

The hub is an environmentally sustainable building. It brings together the services Banyule City Council offers for babies, children, families and older adults.

Funding

In Round 2 of the 2020–21 Building Blocks Capacity Grants $2 million was allocated to the project.
