About the project
We are building a kindergarten at Sunbury College.
It will open in 2027 and will have 3 kindergarten rooms.
This will help some families before and after school with drop-off and pick-up. It will also help some children make a smoother transition into primary school.
Enrolment
Northern Schools Early Years Cluster has been appointed to run this kindergarten. They will be managing enrolments via their website.
Your new kindergarten name
Blind Creek Kindergarten was chosen as this kindergarten's name because the service backs onto Blind Creek which is a feature of the local area.
While being built, this kindergarten had the interim name of Sunbury College Kindergarten.
Funding
In the 2023–24 State Budget, this project shared in $1.3 billion allocated to build around 100 new kindergartens to support Best Start, Best Life.
