About the project
We are helping Castlemaine Steiner School and Kindergarten upgrade their outdoor area.
They will install:
- nature-based play equipment
- accessible ramps
- improved pathways
- new sensory gardens
- a sitting circle
- a shade sail.
The upgrade will encourage imaginative play. It will also create a safer, more inclusive outdoor space.

About the project
We upgraded and expanded this kindergarten. We built a veranda and deck. This provides more flexible outdoor learning spaces that can be used in all weather. We also built an office space and improved the kitchen and bathrooms to make the kinder more inclusive.

In the 2022-23 Building Blocks Improvement Grants $368,729.30 was allocated to the project.
