About the project

We expanded Cobden Kindergarten in preparation for the roll-out of subsidised kindergarten for 3-year-olds which began in 2021.

We built a second kindergarten room to create more places for local children. The upgrade also allowed the kindergarten to become part of an integrated family service centre where parents can get maternal child health support.

Funding

In Round 1 of the 2020–21 Building Blocks Capacity Grants, $689,000 was allocated to the project.
