About the project

We're building a new Integrated Children’s Centre in Cranbourne East. This will make it easier for local children to get the best start to life by attending a kinder close to home.

The centre, planned to open in 2028, will provide long day care, Three-Year-Old Kindergarten and Pre-Prep programs, with space for up to 130 local children each day. The centre will include outdoor play areas, carparking, and a consulting room for child and family services, such as maternal and child health and allied health. It will also have a multi-purpose room for community meetings and playgroups.

Enrolment

An approved kindergarten provider will be appointed in late 2026. They will manage all enrolment and program enquiries.

Funding

This project is jointly funded by the Australian Government and the Victorian Government through the Building Early Education Fund 2026. The Victorian Government is contributing $107 million towards 11 projects, and the Australian Government will invest $63 million.
