Dandenong Valley Special Developmental School

We are modernising the school to give students better learning opportunities. This significant upgrade will deliver the first stage of a master plan.

We'll build:

• a classroom building with learning spaces and staff rooms
• a therapy building with space for physiotherapy and occupational therapy.

We will also build toilets in both buildings. Outside, we'll upgrade the bike path, landscaping and play equipment.

We refurbished classrooms, kitchen and toilets.

We have redeveloped the school's hydrotherapy pool to create a more inclusive learning environment for students with sensory processing difficulties. We painted walls and installed shutters to allow the environment to be darkened.
