About the project

We are helping Darebin Childcare and Kindergarten Inc – Preston upgrade their outdoor play area.

The upgrade will add new nature play areas, a vegetable garden, shade, seating and quiet retreat spaces. Ramps and surfaces will be repaired. A new fence and accessible pathways will also be installed to improve safety.

Safety will be improved with repaired ramps and surfaces, a new fence and accessible pathways.

These upgrades will improve access, safety and play opportunities for all children.

In the 2026–27 Building Blocks Inclusion Grant – Buildings and Playgrounds Stream, this project received $197,850.
