About the project

We built a kindergarten at Dimboola Primary School.

This will help some families before and after school with drop-off and pick-up. It will also help some children make a smoother transition into primary school.

This new kindergarten has one room as well as an outdoor learning area. The kindergarten will provide kindergarten for up to 33 children at a time. It may be able to enrol more local kids by spreading sessions throughout the week.

This kinder was previously known by the name of Dimboola Primary School Kindergarten (interim name).

Funding

In the 2023-24 State Budget, this project shared in $1.3 billion allocated to build around 100 new kindergartens to support Best Start, Best Life.
