About the project

We partnered with the City of Monash Council to expand Dover Street Preschool. We replaced the existing building with a new modular kindergarten.

The new building features 2 rooms, an outdoor play area and minor landscaping. It will allow the kindergarten to offer places to 66 children at a time, an increase of 36. It may be able to enrol more local kids by spreading classes throughout the week.

Funding

This project was delivered by the Victorian School Building Authority and the City of Monash. It is part of the Building Blocks Partnership between the Victorian Government and the City of Monash. This partnership has provided up to $16.02 million to the local government area. This investment is supporting 6 projects. These projects will create up to 521 kindergarten places in the City of Monash.
