About the project
We are building a new early learning and childcare centre in Dandenong at Dandenong High School, Cleeland Campus. It will open in 2030
The Victorian Government-owned centre will be run by Early Learning Victoria(opens in a new window).
The centre will provide long day care and 3- and 4-Year-Old Kinder programs. It will have space for up to 102 local children in the centre each day.
The centre will also have:
- outdoor play areas
- spaces for maternal and child health services
- spaces for other child and family services, such as playgroups and allied health
- a carpark.
Funding
This centre is funded as part of the $3.8 billion allocated for early childhood infrastructure funding since the 2015–16 State Budget. It supports the delivery of the Victorian Government’s Best Start, Best Life reforms.
