About the project
Knox City Council built an integrated children’s centre in Bayswater. The centre provides single-entry integrated services for children and families and has improved the community's access to a sustainable long day care service.
The facility provides early years and family support services to support a range of needs. Services include long day care, sessional and long day funded kindergarten, and a dual-maternal and child health service. The hub includes a natural outdoor play space , an allied health consultation suite and a community/playgroup room.
Funding
As part of the 2017–18 Children's Facilities Capital Program $1,600,000 was allocated to the project.
