About the project

We are helping to upgrade Eildon Road Childcare and Kindergarten.

We will improve the kinder rooms, toilets, corridors and staff areas so they are more accessible for people with disabilities. We will also improve the electrical wiring, plumbing, ventilation, and building security.

The service can offer kinder to up to 21 children at a time. It may be able to enrol more local kids by spreading sessions throughout the week.

Funding

This project received $2.31 million as part of the Building Blocks Partnership between the Victorian Government and Port Phillip City Council. The Victorian Government has provided up to $16.51 million to support 6 projects that will create more kindergarten places in the local government area.
