About the project

We upgraded and modernised Emerald Secondary College.

These works developed an Inclusion and Learning Centre, modernised the library and redeveloped the technology and performing arts areas. We delivered an enlarged and re-equipped canteen and expanded the facilities within the performing arts building.

The project also included the repair and upgrade of storm water drains, pipes, roofs, windows and doors. The upgraded facilities ensures that all students' physical, intellectual, mental health, social and overall wellbeing needs are supported.

Funding

In the 2015-16 State Budget, $1.5 million was allocated to the school. A further $500,000 was allocated to the school from the 2017-18 Planned Maintenance Program.
