About the project
We upgraded and modernised the school to provide new facilities for students and staff, including:
Block A (heritage building)
- upgraded learning spaces, shared learning, art and specialist spaces and staff areas, including accessibility and compliance upgrades throughout.
Block B
- new passenger lift
- new main switchboard and distribution boards
- upgraded north and south stairs to ensure building code compliance
- upgraded ground and first-floor toilets by replacing existing fixtures and fittings, including accessible toilets.

In the 2020–21 State Budget, the school received $9.272 million.
