About the project
We are helping Glenroy Memorial Kindergarten improve their outdoor area.
The upgrade will create a more inclusive and engaging outdoor space.
It will feature:
- new nature play areas
- a vegetable garden
- accessible storage
- new shade areas with native and Indigenous planting
- a gathering circle
- seating
- quiet spaces.
A new fence will be built to improve safety. Accessible pathways will also support children of all abilities.

In the 2026–27 Building Blocks Inclusion Grant – Buildings and Playgrounds Stream this project received $199,900.
