About the project

We helped upgrade the outdoor playspace. It is now more inclusive for children of all ages and abilities.

The centre replaced the astro turf beneath the verandah with sealed concrete and replaced the tan bark with artificial turf. They also replaced the blue mats with shock-absorbing materials.

The existing cubby was upgraded. The sandpit was refurbished with smooth pavers and widened access. A new garden with natural shade and accessible seating was also built.

Funding

In the 2025–26 Building Blocks Inclusion Grant – Buildings and Playgrounds Stream, $200,000 was allocated to this project.
