About the project

We are building a kindergarten at Kilmore Primary School. It will open in 2028 and have 2 kindergarten rooms.

Having the school and kindergarten together may help some families with drop-off and pick-up. It may also help some children make a smoother transition into primary school.

Enrolment

An experienced not-for-profit kindergarten provider will be appointed by 2027 to run the kinder. They will manage all enrolment and program enquiries.

Funding

This project shares in the approximate $580 million in capital funding committed since the 2019–20 State Budget to support the rollout of Three-Year-Old-Kindergarten.
