About the project

We are building a 3-room modular kindergarten next door to Lancefield Primary School. The new kinder will offer 99 places for local children. The kindergarten will also include a maternal and child health room. 

In February 2024 a cultural artefact was found on the site. Works have paused while we work with Traditional Owners to determine the impact this will have on works at the site. We are working closely with Macedon Ranges Shire and will update the community with more information as soon as it is available.

Funding was allocated in Round 3 of the 2022–23 Building Blocks Capacity Grant stream.
