About the project
We upgraded one of the school's netball courts to provide lighting and an all-weather cover. This cover creates a protected outdoor learning and active recreation space where students can participate in enhanced learning, active play and after-school care. Laurimar Power Netball Club will also use the court. The cover and lighting mean that the netball club can train and play in low light, at night and when it is raining. The local community can also use the covered area.

In the 2016–17 State Budget $225,000 was allocated to the school through the Shared Facilities Fund (SFF).
