About the project

We expanded the kindergarten in partnership with the City of Ballarat.

This upgrade creates space for up to 33 more local children per day. We created space for staff planning, children’s toilets and outdoor space.

These changes help expand free kindergarten, as part of the Best Start, Best Life reforms.

This kinder was previously known by the name of Lucas Kindergarten.

Funding

This project received $1.5 million as part of the Building Blocks Partnership between the Victorian Government and the City of Ballarat. The Victorian Government has provided up to $21.5 million to support 5 projects that will create up to 612 new kindergarten places in the local government area.
