About the project

We built an integrated children’s centre at Mernda Hills Christian College. The centre has 4 kinder rooms, enough space to offer kinder to 132 children at a time. It may be able to enrol more local kids by spreading classes throughout the week.

The centre also has 2 consulting rooms to use for health and family services. These include maternal and child health, occupational and speech therapy and counselling.

This kindergarten was previously known as Mernda Hills Early Learning Centre.

Funding

In Batch 2 of the 2024 Capacity Grants, this project was allocated $9 million.
