About the project

We are building a kindergarten at Mickleham Primary School.

It will open in 2028 and will have 2 kindergarten rooms.

Having the school and kindergarten together may help some families with drop-off and pick-up. It may also help some children make a smoother transition into primary school.

Enrolment

Northern Schools Early Years Cluster(opens in a new window) was appointed to run this kindergarten. They will manage enrolments via this website(opens in a new window).

Funding

In the 2023–24 State Budget, this project shared in $1.3 billion allocated to build around 100 new kindergartens to support the Best Start, Best Life reforms.
